2.9 emblem , WANTED

Looking for a 2.9 chrome deck lid emblem , please call 909 595 1936, Thanks

2.9? I may be wrong but the 911 didn't have a 2.9 "designated" engine. The 3.0 is a 2994cc and maybe that qualifies. My 2.4 is actually 2341cc so the factroy was known to mess around with the numbers. In fact, I have trouble finding 2.4 in some parts books and must remember some list it as a 2.3.

I have seem some folks have stuff like this made. Maybe they will chime in?

Or maybe post in the Parts Forum? You never can tell.

The 2.9 is usually built by overbore on a 2.7 case. 70.4 x 93mm. This really pushes the boundaries of strength of the magnesium case at the spigot/head-stud interface.

Hello , a few years back I found a 74 911 and it has this 2.9 Mahle pistons , engine was done originaly by Andial , after 7 years of work I'm very much done with the restoration , last meet at Anaheim Ca I saw a 911 the had the 2.9 emblem but the owner was not around to ask him where he got it from . Thanks
