Good Reference 101

Last night I noticed my son reading Dempsey's 101 projects book. This evening I came home from work and found he'd successfully removed the windshield and rear glass from his 911 by himself after school. He's mostly stripped and sanded the car down to bare metal for a "glass out" paint job; only the strips around these windows were left to sand. His only comments were the back window defroster wiring hookup was rather complicated but came out intact, the headliner had been replaced before without taking out the windshield and that we needed more Exacto knife blades. It appears the book was a good Christmas gift. Cheers, Jim

I'd be proud if I were you.

Hey, what ever happened to that awesome story about the guy whose dad used to drive him to and from Little League practice in the 911. On the way home he'd fall asleep to the growl and whirrr of the boxer six engine. Then years later, he give his aged dad a ride in HIS 911. And dad fell asleep.

A year ago at least, on this Board. A cool story. Anybody remember?

I love the 101 projects book. I have a copy of it on my nightstand and read, or re-read a project every night.

My girlfriend makes fun of me. Probably because she gets less attention now!!

It has been very helpful to me and have completed alot of projects.
