This is what a 930S steering-wheel looks like:

Congrats from another newbie - I picked up an 83 SC a few months ago and have been lurking and learning on this site since - its a great resource, easy reading and reminds you of how much fun the car is, even when its in the garage. Another suggestion would be the 101 Projects for your 911 - GREAT BOOK! Very helpful.

On the steering wheel issue - I've got the standard 3 spoke as well, but am doing the opposite of what you have planned. After driving my friend's 87 Cab with a Momo, I threw the towel in on the authenticity issue and am running to the comfort and feel of the Momo - so, if you have the oportunity, maybe try to check out the feel of the three spoke b4 switching back.

Have fun

Adam

Congrats on the 83. does it have pop-off valve, hydr. tensioners? euro model?

Jadams1,

wow, those seats are amazing....they compliment the beautiful brown interior very nicely. Are those stock seats? Sometimes my black interior seems so boring....

Your brown is a very classy color, timeless....let's see more photos of the exterior too if possible!

My SC is a coupe with a power sunroof. It is White with the Coco Brown interior. The overall condition of this car (136,000) is outstanding inside and out. Everything except the Fog Lights(relay?) work perfectly. The engine is bone stock and my first upgrade is the Carrera tensioners and the pop-off valve. The only "odd" thing about this car is that the original owner replaced the original deck lid with a Carrera deck lid, Whale Tail included. The tail is in great shape and is an authentic Porsche tail. I will most likely remove this tail and the "Carrera" lettering and replace them with the proper SC badge and grille. Other than that, the car really needs nothing else for now. I like the idea of benchmarking the fluids so I will be chainging the oil and all the filters next weekend. Pics soon!!! And Moses I sent out the letter today! Thanks again guys!!
;)

Jdub I am intersted in that book please send me an e-mail with more info. Thank you!!
