battery drain 911 sc

lately it has been one problem after another. Now I have a battery drain somewhere. This am I cranked her up, moved it out of the garage, and let it sit all day while I cleaned up my mess. When I went to start the car to put it away, the battery was stone cold dead. Any easy way to find out what it running it down? Thanks

No. After charging the battery back up. Remove the pos. cable and using a trouble light, connect it from the battery to the + cable. the light should come on indicating current flow. Now, you have to remove things like fuses, wires, lights that are on! to narrow it down to the offending circuit. It's time consuming and tedious. Make sure it isn't something simple like you left the front hood open and the light was on all day.

Use a digital multimeter. Charge battery, pull fuses, when you see a jump....that's one suspect area. Keep going....could be a few.

Most likely an old alarm, radio or other accessory.
