Removing Hofco alarm

I'd appreciate hearing from anybody who has removed a Hofco alarm system (in this case from an '87 911). How many components does the system contain and are there any issues in particular to look out for? I want to do it without stranding the car.

Not a common alarm....or at least one that I am familiar with. Try looking for an installation manual. Google is your friend.....or makes friends with an old school alarm guy.

Mine was a euro install and I bribed a buddy who had experience.....an afternoon of removal equaled a 12 lbs mass of crap, cost be a 12 pack and a bbq of shark with my special sauce. Invited over a few "Betties"....he ended up getting laid. He considred it a bargain....as did I......
