New Targa, new member

Hi Folks,

My new to me 1972 Targa just arrived, purchased from a Pelican member in the States and shipped to Norway.

A friend of mine had to pick up the car as I was working in Africa. There is ice on the roads now and the roads are salted, so all I have been able to do since I arrived home is start her up so far. Spring will be here soon enough and the winding roads along the fjords and through the mountains that are fun to drive in any car will be outstanding on a nice day with the top off.

I have seen what a great community there is here, I will post my share of questions I am sure, thanks in advance for your help.

You can see from the photo why I am not driving just yet. Summer tires and snow on top of earlier freezing rain. We will get some cold clear days for some winter driving.

I see that there are others on Pelican from the Stavanger area as well. I am in Stavanger often with work and most of my in-laws live there. Are there any "get-togethers" during the spring/summer? I have joined PCN but there doesn't seem like there is much on the west side, but just started looking.

Wade - every spring autotuning comes over to stavanger and roughly 40-50 P cars shows up every year for a get together and free PPI
