Future P-Car line up

Having been gone for five weeks I returned home to a mountain of mail including Panorama. In the segment "European windows" the writer says that in addition to the 918 as the top of the Porsche line up there is going to be another mid-engined car introduced, which will be also above the 911 in the pecking order. My thought is that by taking this action, Porsche is phasing out the rear engined platform.....it will take a few years, but the writing seems to be on the wall. I'm heavily biased, but Porsche without a variant of the 911 seems ....well, not Porsche. Cheers
