Brake upgrade options

I've got an 82 sc and will need caliper rebuilds soon. what options do I have? Will 944 brembos work or stock brembos off of a C2. What is involved, adapters, rotors, etc. Need some advice to make a wise decision. Don't want to spend a fortune. Toga82sc

Rebuilding your calipers, unless things are really shot, will be cheap and easy. Figure out why you want to upgrade. If you are outdriving your brakes on the track that is one thing, if this is a street car, it is a whole different issue. Once your brake system is rebuilt you will be surprised at how good the stock system is. By the way, there are no good, cheap brake upgrades. Rebuilding your present system is probably the cheapest. If you want to read about a million pages about brake upgrades for your car, do a search of this board and use the archives. Gary

If your car is seeing some track time, check out the brake duct cooling tech article. Works great and not nearly as expensive as a set of big reds.
