993 roof spoiler and brake light install

My dad got a roof spoiler with 3rd brake light for his 993 (org.Porsche parts)
It's all painted and ready to go, but...

Supposedly, the 993 should have the connectors for the brakelight all ready to go, hidden under the rear window rubber, but no such luck on my dad's car...

So, 2 questions:

First, any tips/hints/how-to's on getting the wires inside the car at the top of the rear window?

Second, what's a good location to tap into the brake wiring?
Which wire and where?

All info appreciated!

here's where mine were

the wiring on the inside is here, passenger side rear shelf

If you are sure that the oem wire is AWOL, run new wire under the rubber seal around the edge

Thanks!

It's no where as clean under the rear window rubber as in your pic. I guess the rear window was replaced at some point, cause there's a ton of gunk there...

Is the brakelight wire in one of the 2 connectors on the parcel shelf?

yes, and there was some minor connection changes at the parcel shelf to energize the preexisting wire at the window
