Clutch slave cylinder rebuild kit for '87 C3.2?
As the title says, is there a kit available?
I found kits for 944's and 968's only so far.

I haven't seen one. When I had the drivetrain out of my car a few months ago, I bought a new slave.

1987 - My slave cylinder started failing last fall, replaced it with a new one from our host while I had the engine & transmission out for top end work.
The Slave can be replaced in the car, but you need to be in a zen like state. Access is miserable from under the car, and bleeding is a royal pain. The fluid that came out of mine looked horrible, the lack of access leads people not to bleed the circuit, eventually the moisture in the fluid ruins the seal. Before replacing you may want to try bleeding the lines to see if that helps. |
