Despondent Pelicanite needs electrical help in Oceanside

Prior mechanic’s lack of knowledge has forced me to literally drag my ’84 M491 to my driveway...

This guy replaced the original main '84 electrical harness with an ’83 harness! Jae Lee of Mirage Int’l offered a helping hand and did a fantastic job figuring out engine harness issues and got my engine running in short order, but unfortunately for me, has way too much work already in progress to continue. Headlights, tail lights, instrument panel and all systems in general need to be checked as well as the reassembly of all kinds of stuff in the trunk area. Since I wasn’t there when all these bits and pieces came out, I have no idea of the re-installation sequence and what goes where... With some much needed guidance and a little help, I know I can do it.

Is there anyone who can help me? I will be more than happy to supply good food, beverage and even $$ for your assistance. If you are in the San Diego/L.A area and like things electrical, please contact me. I'm just east of the I-5 near Oceanside Blvd and absolutely DESPERATE to get my commuter back on the road. Fridays and Saturdays are best. Please help, please...

The first shop owner talked me into replacing my whole electrical harness due to a "butched" Viper alarm installation. He was supposed to source an '84 harness but only after he had removed my harness, did he mention he was installing an '83 instead! He assured me that an '83 would work just fine. Yeah, right... After I got my car away from the first guy, Jae at Mirage Int'l got it to run by approaching it like he was installing a 3.2 into a 3.0 car. Jae Lee definitely knows what he's doing, but just doesn't have the time to go further. He suggested I try here to find someone willing to help me out of this really bad situation.

Paging TRE Motorsports. If you're in Oceanside, you're not too far away from the dreaded LA. Besides, if you wanted to come back to SDiego, Black Forest is the place.

Actually, it is the front main wiring harness. the one for the ignition, lights, instruments, fuse block etc. Hope this helps.

Hello Don, I am hoping to find someone who can come by my place to assist in my efforts to get this thing back on the road. I'm on a pretty tight budget. To be moved right now, it has to be flat-bedded. It's not drivable...
