seat help

Can someone help me identify these seats? I believe they came from an 89 911?
They also seem to sit higher in my car than the sc seats I had in it before????
Also are the driver's seats offset to steering wheel on all 911's?
I am trying to mount in my project car and want to do it correctly the first time.
Thanks Frank

Seat Identification

They look similar to mine. I salvaged a pair from a 88 911 and installed them in a 76 912E, they bolted right in.
The 88 911 was stock and only the drivers side had an electric control but both seats have inside and outside flip latches. The passenger side sits at what I consider a normal height and because of the electric controls on the drivers side the height is adjustable. Hope that helps -

(1) Those seats above are not from a 3.2 or C4 '89 911 or earlier.

(2) They appear to be 996 seats, which would also explain the height difference:

(3) Yes, the driver's seat is slightly offset from the center of the wheel on 911's.

85 and later seats tend to sit higher in an SC than the SC seats. The seat brackets are at a different level than the Carrera.

It looks like my Sport Seats, a side pic would verify it.

They are 996 or 986 seats with optional supple leather . The 986 (Boxster) seats are the same but have a pocket on the back.

My 88 has electric controls on both driver and passenger seats.
