CA: Mobil1 5 qt. jugs at WalMart in Mountain View
I just picked up 4 for $18.08 ea. Not bad considering you would pay at least $4.80 - $5.50 per qt. US retail in a Kragen or Pep Boys. When bought in the jug they are about $3.62 per quart. Get e' while they last - automotive section hidden against the very back of the store on an end cap right near the plants.

Thanks! I'm gonna run down there tomorrow. Not for my Carrera, but for my VW.

I found that Walmart will order the 5 qt jugs of Mobil 1 in the weight of your choice for you if you ask--at least the store in Pleasanton did. Same price--$18/jug and I also picked up 4 in the 15/50 weight. You have to give them a few days to get the order in tho so plan ahead.

Does Mountain View have 15/50 now?

Here in St. Louis I had to go to 4 Walmarts to find 3 jugs of
Mobil 1 - $17.88 here. I found out something interesting through my travels All Walmarts - even ones close to each other - do not carry the same goods and do not have the same pricing structures. 2 of the 4 stores did not carry Mobil 1 in the 5qt jugs. Mobil 1 in quarts were different prices at the stores - about a dime difference. I quess I assumed that every Walmart was the same - not true. Probably best to call the store first.

That figures, I've been checking the walmarts around here the last 2 months because I have an oil change coming up. I couldn't find the jugs so I decided to try some redline, talk about exspensive. I hope I don't like it.

I found boxes of 6 quart bottles of Mobile 1 at Costco Wholesale yesterday for $21.99. ($3.67/quart)

Lee--our Costco has had it all along--but only in 10-30 weight. Are you able to get 15-50 weight at yours?

Walmart is evil. Never set foot inside one...never will.

I didn't even think to look at what weights they carried. I'll have to check next time I'm in Costco.

the trick to shopping at walmart is to know what your there for, walk fast, get your stuff and leave quick...don't make any eye contact with all the slow moving 300 pound women.

[B] They have wife beaters there? I could use some more V-Necks! Never thought Walmart would be an automotive hotspot.
