Ok guys,
Here is my latest issue. I have a 1996 Porsche Carrera. Late Model 9/96. It has about 50,000 miles on it. Recently I have been having trouble with the Immobilization Light and starting the car. I have replaced (Starter/Alternator/Battery with no luck) Now sometimes the light will flash and not stop flashing until i turn the car off, and sometimes it doesn't flash at all. Another thing that is weird is that i am having trouble starting the car after it has been driven. There is a strange knocking noise when turning it off and somtimes in the on position (not fully cranked though just as far as the key will turn without turning the engine over. The locks work fine and there doesn't appear to be any problems with the key/remote. Has anyone experienced this problem before? Trouble starting/Immobilization light flashes repeatedly |

Sorry for lack of posts our pre'89's do not have this device.
When I had my S430 it would go to limp mode when the gas cap was not on tight.
