Weltmeister strut bar correct mounting
see photos what is the correct mounting of this bar do the mounts attach to the painted surface of the shock towers? is there any spacer between the mount and the painted surface? would like to see a copy of instructions can email to bdcox42@gmail.com of a correct photo

Before you mount it, you might want to modify it. Look this up and you will see what I'm referring to.

I just removed my cracked Weltmeister hardware after welding one of the strut brackets twice,i welded in some RSR strut brackets instead ...
Like Toblu mentions,cut out the hole for the shock bolt otherwise your brackets will crack just like mine ! They mount directly to the shock tower and i didn't have any spacers with my installation ... Cheers ! Phil

+1 on the welds, looks like poor penetration, not tig welded I bet. I'd be suspect of the welds cracking, even though clearance hole was opened up for the shock bolt.
