Any L.A. CIS gurus on the board?
I'm basically looking for a Bill Krause kind of guy in L.A. who has the fuel pressure guage and can show me how to check my CIS to make sure it is working properly. Car is a stock '82 SC that just doesn't quite have the SNAP that it should; everything else checks out right, (compression, ignition advance, all maintenence items, etc.). I have the cool snap-on advancing digital t. light and some other good tools, so maybe I can help you with something? TIA.

Denis,
I have the gages, a Gunson, and some time on weekends. I have to warn you though- I've only tuned the CIS on my 74 911. It seems to run well and pass smog, but its a much simpler CIS than the 82 SC Jeff Craddock Orange, CA

Jeff, Thank you- I will PM you. I think it should not be too difficult to test pressure- that is what I think might be off.
![]() And Doug- not a bad idea, but I think he is a busy guy w/ work and family. ![]()
