What next? Removing struts
I've gotten this far; ball joint pins out, wheels off. I have this camber strut brace by PO installed. What is my next step in getting the struts out?
Thank you for the help. ![]() ![]()

To answer my own question: I did have to remove the camber strut brace to get the strut to come out of the upper mount. Besides, to change the rubber bushings the brace had to come out. Onward...

Are you replacing the struts?

if you're just changing the inserts (as opposed to the whole strut housing), you don't need to remove the ball joint pin. you just need to compress the strut and pull it out of the wheel housing (don't let it hang by brake line) and remove the roll pin at the bottom (bilstein) or big nut at the top which holds the insert in place.
