Creating a web site
I remember when Wayne was offering email address with 911 (?) in the title and there was some discussion about the legality - infringing copyright. I've being looking for the link but I'm hopeless at searching
![]() Anyhow, I'm creating a web page at the moment about a Porsche club I am starting but I'm not sure about a) using the Porsche logo b) any waiver statements I might need about not having affiliation to Dr Ing......etc Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance. Cheers Mark ![]() |

You may want to search the Rennlist 911 list archives: there have been several threads on this topic.
Porsche is very vigilent about pursuing what it perceives as misuse or "brand diluting" applictions of its trademarks. I think it is particuarly verboten to use the name "Porsche" in the domain name. Using the crest or various trademarked words in the body of the site probably would not attract as much attention as the domain name. Putting the disclaimer and trademark notice may also be helpful -- I don't know -- but I did that on my sites just for good measure.
