Early rear look, late front end look?

Didnt think it would look decent, but I saw an 80s 911 in the shop today with a >74iroc front end with a <73 rsr rear end. It actually was fine. Most people who saw it didnt connect the differences. You really cant see both ends fully at the same time.
Anybody on here done this?

I would like to do just that because my IROC rear hangs too low with only RS width flares. It is styled after the rear valance used on the RSR 3.0 with vented flares so on a narrow car it just doesn't look right. The early rear is more fit and trim.

Good catch! I love the look of the ducktail and the early rear end. Certainly not for the purist but it is a track car and it is mine!

For what it's worth. The front splitter I had made locally made HUGE difference on the overall aero of the car at speeds above 120.

The aero mirrors gave me 3 mph and the sticker only 1 mph. Need more stickers.
