door gaps 911sc cabriolet

I read the acceptable 4mm tolerance door gap blogs . *On speculating buying a 1983 cabriolet:

Does this (gap) apply to 1983 911sc cabriolet or does the flexing of convertible prove to have bigger gaps over time? Is it possible a different year door(s) could have been used to replace originals for some reason?
The electric windows seem to allign good to top rubber positions, but door gaps seem to be wider than normal. I see no signs of body/rocker/floor rebuild/salvage damage.
