Their engine assembly room looks like a cross between a Hospital operating room and something from NASA = WOW

I have been to both and trusted them with my babies.

The timing on this is remarkable. I was asking around to various Porsche friends about a shop in Texas for an upper end rebuild and was given a strong positive recommendation for Wes Hildreth at H and H Enterprises in Plano, Texas.

I have never run into this shop, but the person giving me the recommendation is someone whose opinion I respect. Anyone know Wes and H and H?

Ed Mayo is a regular contributor to Pano and knows the older cars very well. They do great work.

Kathy knows more about 911's than most mechanics. they overhauled by 2.7L in 1989 and it is still going strong.

I heartily recommend wes hildreth at h&h in Plano,TX. There is nothing he cannot do. He was invaluable to me as I rebuilt my '88 Targa which was a rust bucket from up north. His prices are reasonable and he is honest. He will not mislead you.
