valve timing?

Does anyone know the amount the dial gauge should move on the intake valve when performing valve timing. The motor is is a 1973 911T.

Eric,

For the MFI engine, it is 2.40 to 2.80 mm, with 2.60 mm being the 'desired' lift value.


CIS engine is 0.90 to 1.10 mm, with 1.00 mm being the 'desired' lift value.
