Yes, with the gauge's valve to the WUR, or control pressure regulator, side (so you can check both control and system pressures).

Where is a good source for a ignition distributor rebuilding?

Title says it all.

1973.5T 2.4L CIS

Who is really decent in the USA that can rebuild and test a ignition distributor?

Thanks

Bob

Dave, on your 73.5 you should have a throttle position valve that taps off of the port in the FD that goes to the WUR--you'll see the line going to a device on the backside of the throttle body. Be sure to hook your gauge set so that both the line to the throttle valve and the line to the WUR are on the valved side of the gauge set as mentioned by Brian.

Thanks to all for responding.

Bob-there in a Porsche mechanic in Pittsburgh, Pa.....he's been doing Posche repairs for 45 years. He has a Sun machine. My distributor was hanging up and he said to soak it in penetrating oil for a couple days. Worked like a charm.

I'll send him his name and number if you like.
