Which rims look better for the 930?

Sorry for the trivial post, but I'll sit here and ponder all weekend unless I get some input. The aftermarket 3 piece rims are marginally heavier than the Fuchs btw, but not by much.

5 spoke Ruf wheels are my favorite on a turbo. But the fuchs look much better than the gold mesh 'bbs style'

The Fuchs... Unless your going to sell them. Then I'll definitely buy them and vote for the gold mesh BBS Style ones.

i'm partial to the fuchs. had rufs on the 930 for a while and the car felt immediately lighter handling when i put the fuchs back on. BBS are so '80s.

Fuchs get my vote, they look much more masculine on a 930

And that would be so wrong on his 87 930?
But honestly I too prefer the Fuchs!

Fuchs...

Never much cared for the BBS. Now the 5 spoke RUF's that were mentioned, I would say either the Fuchs or the RUFs.

BBS wheels are hideous!!! I personally don't know how anybody puts them on a 911.... boggles my mind... I hate them sooooo much, I've even passed on buying cars with them on b/c I felt that if the owner put those wheels on the car - what else has he done?!

when i worked at the dealer, '75-'80, BBS were hot and i bought the fuchs for as little as $10 each, they had so many take-offs.

Really? What about Fuchs? They are 80s also.

I know Fuch are excellent wheels, better than many out there, but so are BBS.

IMO both wheels look outdated but look good on early cars, specially stock ones.

In THIS car I prefer the Fuchs over the Gold BBS, but maybe if you paint black the BBS would look better.

The Fuchs look "outdated?" Really? Period correct, perhaps. But not "outdated" IMO. (Though with the BBS' I agree with the "outdated" term.)

Rufs also get my vote, if you come across a set. Also period correct. Also gorgeous. But heavy.

Honeycomb BBS and Fuchs are from the same period but just the Fuchs are "period correct" not the BBS? How is that?

When I said they are outdated I mean by today standards. Obviously they are correct for a stock car of that era.
