Paint for interior quick question

Doing a interior restoration
What is the best paint to use on the interior pieces like the shifter, hand brake, ash tray etc.?

Also my back seats had puddles of water in them when i took the carpet out Looks like a pretty bad rustt issue, what should i do about that before installing rs carpet?

Thanks

I think most people on here would say Wurth satin black, but I think most of that stuff was originally powder coated, not spray painted.

I'm no expert but without pictures it's hard to tell whether the floor pans need replacement. If it's minor rust, POR (Paint Over Rust) is an excellent product.

I used POR-15 satin black on the shifter and handbrake. Very tough finish and "self leveling". Just brushed it on and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it turned out. Also used it on surface rust in the rear seat buckets.
