I am very very unhappy to see someone ruin a perfectly nice lloking 911 like this.

dhagood 06-21-2011 01:13 PM

where i come from, gun control is when you can hit what yer shooting at. this was pretty sad.

Ken911 06-21-2011 01:39 PM

Dat iz nawt a 911, dats a 996. :D

osidak 06-21-2011 02:07 PM

what was the point of that

schumicat 06-21-2011 02:35 PM

this is on Jalopnik. Apparenly the owner was facing a $20k repair bill for engine/cooling system and donated it to a gun group, which shot it up. It was an automatic too. I would think it could've been saved with a donor engine from a wreck for much less than $20K.

What a bunch of asshats.

That would have been a prime candidate for a V8 conversion.

Stupid people...

What's really sad is the amount of shots I heard vs. the amount of hits I saw.

I'm a layman and even I was surprised about that. Maybe some of the shooters were blindfolded...

twistoffat 06-21-2011 11:30 PM

I know alot of people donīt like the aircooled cars but thats taking it a bit too far

DRACO A5OG 06-22-2011 12:23 AM

Clowns missed about a dozen rounds and hit the ground. How much of a target do you need?

tazzieman 06-22-2011 12:26 AM

Only in America...
I guess a 996 cant' be worth much "parted out" but you'd think wheels and seats would get a few quid.
