Porsche Crest "Wish I Kept It"

I hear the phrases "I wish I kept it" or "I shouldn't have sold" it a lot
This thread is for sharing sharing those Porsches that you wish you still had! Call it venting maybe...

Without question...this one! I sold it to restore my first 911 that I had in storage. I regret it every day. Should have kept it and restored teh car later. And fyi...the money from the 993 sale didnt even come close to the restoration cost of the early car.

This one, not the backdate

This thing was and still is sublime to drive:

I've regretted every Porsche I ever sold, but would have regretted it even more if I hadn't purchased the next.

Here are a few pics of some I owned in the past:

Without a doubt this is the favorite of the three that I have owned...and there will be more, but I loved this car.

I've owned nicer cars, but this was the one I actually drove all the time, and it was no joking 100 % rust free, down to the original battery tray. I think it still stings because it was not a lot of money and I didn't need to sell it.

Of the 20 Porsches that I've sold in the past 39 years, this is the one I miss the most...

I have had 15 cars in the last ten years and was only happy to see two go, a Cadillac, nothing wrong with it, just didn't care for it, and a 62 Chevy II wagon, I put three motors in it in three months, not my fault, and when it ran for a month I sold it.
My 911 was a gem but I just wanted something different.

My last view of the 911

Couldn't afford at the time this toy and a daily driver... never seen another replica even remotely close to how good this one was, and I've seen hundreds of 'em both before and after I sold this one...

1958 Speedster, VIN 84811, S90 power. My 2nd Porsche. I liked the nerf bars, but had the original, USA-type, tall over rider bumpers. Never did find out what happened to my Rudge knock-offs after they went into storage at my parent's house... Yes, folks, it was a zero-rust, black plate CA car.

I miss my 964, but like Scooter said, the only consolation is getting another one, which I did.

No regrets, I didn't sell it, even though I had it for sale/trade a while ago. Thank god it didn't happen. I'll keep it and just buy a 2nd P-car when I can. It's hearing people say "wish I kept it" that made me hold on to it.

These, on the other hand, I wasn't so sad to watch drive away:
