mechanic in Ventura County Calif?

Anyone recommend a good mechanic in Westlake, Thousand Oaks, Oxnard, Camarillo, or Ventura area. If it was a major repair I'd go to TRE (Tyson did my PPI) but this is minor, I overlooked my dreaded smog test notice and its due in 2 days. I don't have time to swap out the bypass, SW chip and M&K. Thanks

I know of three:
Autobahn West in Agoura Hills. Don't know anything about quality or experience. Porsche only.
RS something, Jason Duarte, in Ventura. He did some work on my car, made a mistake that required the engine/tranny to be pulled and the tranny taken apart. He did it and stood behind his work, though he did make the mistake.
Schneider in Santa Barbara. Good reputation, no personal experience.

Jason Duarte in Ventura at RS Enterprises is a stand up guy that does good work. Everyone can make a mistake but not many admit it or correct it.

Another vote for Jason @ RS if TRE is unavailable.

The SW Chip can stay. I can't see any problem leaving the MK Muffler there... However, definitely swap the Cat back in. Make sure the Cat is TOASTY hot before pulling in to get the check done. Fresh oil change is a good idea too... You might be able to get into a muffler shop to swap the CAT back in...

+1 for Jason at RS Enterprises.

He did my suspension work when I first got my car and was living in Westlake Village.

Another A+ for Jason at RS. My car died one day and he stayed late to wait for the flatbed... very honest guy.

I've also had excellent experiences at TRE, but they are a bit harder for me to get to (I work in Camarillo).

Thanks for all the help guys. Jason squeezed me in at the last mintue and gave me a 3:30 appt and then after getting stuck in the early Friday getaway on the 101 I got there 20 minutes late and after apologizing he said no problem. swapped out the bypass and found the extra hardware I forgot for my heatshield and got me out at 5:15. Best part was while he was wrenching I was checking out his monster 935 clone he has in the shop.

Can't wait to get the car tested so I can put back in the bypass. I conpletely lost a raspy throaty exhaust sound especially at higher rpms and letting off the throttle.

RS Enterprises

Jason did an awesome PPI for my 911. I was overseas at the time and he really worked with me and the dealer to get it done. and the car is awesome. Highly recommend RS Enterprises

+10 for Mike Schatz @MKS Performance. I drive by a Ventura mechanic to drive to Camarillo for honesty and an excellent mechanic.

You really don't need to put the shield on. Just extra work and isn't needed.
