2.2S Ignition Distributor on 3.0 w/ Carbs?
Hey all. I have a euro 3.0 (big valves) with 964 cams, 9.5:1 JE's, Zenith 40 tin's (34mm venturis) and a pre 74 exhaust.
My stock cis ignition distributor has issues and either needs to be rebuilt (and recurved) or replaced. I have the opportunity to purchase a 2.2s distributor and was wondering if this will be similar to one recurved for carbs. Thanks- Craig |

The 3.0 dizzy is completely different. It even turns the other way. You'll need to fix yours or buy another 3.0 dizzy.

Hi Craig,
I rebuild Bosch distributors. PM me if you decide to go that route.
