Read through 10 pages of search.....Oil pressure pegged with ignition off or on

Any suggestions? Grounded pressure wire with ignition off or on and it goes to zero. Plugged back in and it goes to 140 with or without power..unless I ground the wire .Oil level gauge shows zero also with fresh oil change this afternoon but it moved before oil change, and I'm embarrassed to say how little oil was in it...thanks for the free Porsche dad...But DAMN dude check and change the oil every once in awhile!!!...Love a hand me down from a hack mechanic.....(love you dad) Oil temp gauge works though. Tried the reverse gear maybe wires crossed theory with no positive results.
Sorry for the newbeness....at least I didn't ask what kind of oil to use.....

Year of car?
I searched your posts and assume it is a '76S. Put it in your sig or info to help others know...

Disconnect the rear 14 pin engine harness connector and see if it still does it.
