Early and Late Flat 6 Fuchs – What are the Differences?

If a set of late flat 6 Fuchs were painted in an early style with polished petals is it possible to tell they are not early flat 6 wheels, and if so what are the differences that would give it away that they were later wheels made to look like early wheels?

I’m building a pre-73 car but have been offered some later wheels but want to make sure the wheels look correct for the age of car.

Is the later wheel stronger and heavier than an early wheel and if so is any increase in material thickness noticeably visible?

I know the centre caps on the early wheels are the 3 prong aluminum type but are the later centre caps the same shape and is the Porsche logo in the centre the same style and shape?
