Pageant of Power
The Pageant of Power is like Goodwood but in the Midlands of the UK.
As a guest of Bentley Cars I was fortunate to have lunch with Derek Bell and Juha Kankkunen - what a pair of jolly nice chaps.  Juha holds the land speed record on ice, 205mph in a .....Bentley, apparently over the run "he was inputting for over 40% of the time" .. to you and I that means sideways!And Derek gave some interesting background on the 917 aero |

I'll bet Captain Slow would rather take the Veyron at 260+ vs the Bentley on ice.

That record only stood for a week before an Audi with Nokian tires (Hakapelettas) broke it.
