Will 8x15s fit '70 911 on rear?
I have found two different sets of 15x7/15x8 Fuchs for my 1970 911. Will the 8s fit on the rear without a fender roll? The car has ATS 15x7s on it now.

Not really......look for a 951/944 16x8. It has the extra inch inboard. You can squeeze a 225 inside with a little negative camber. Get non directional tires so you can optimize mileage.

if you want a super low, tire stretched to the max look, then put a pair of 205/50 x 15s on the 8's
![]() we did this back in the late seventies, with a set of FOUR polished 8 x 15's, and the car looked like a cartoon slot car. Interesting , but not exactly practical , good driving result

a 944 8x16 would stick out 12.7mm more than the 7 ET23.3 w/ the same 225 widtth tires. There are no 8x15 w/ the 944 ET23.3 o/s.
