3.2 Exhaust Leak Question
My Exhaust is leaking at the joint between the euro premuffler and the heat exchanger/crossover pipe. I have tried multiple times to torque the proper bolts down to the factory suggested torques, as well as a bit further to see if I could seal the leak. Nothing seems to help and it appears the contact point must be slightly warped and won't create a good seal. Is it possible to use two exhaust gaskets to create a thicker seal? Any other suggestions?

Yes. Or you can go to Napa Auto, get the thicker Fel Pro gasket material, and cut one out yourself.

Also check to see if the flanges are flat. Heat, flatten, file.....

Any recommendations on which Felpro gaskets to get. I went on the site but I am not quite sure which ones I could cut to fit.

Gasket material comes in sheets of varying thickness. I made a gasket for my transmission. Just make sure that it can stand heat.
