Question Does anybody know the answer?

The distributor vacuum canister has two connections. Where is the best place to connect these hoses. Which is intake and which is exhaust?

Thanks

the retard gets below throttle plate vacuum at idle, and the advance gets vacuum as the throttle is opened. so find ports that do this and attach them accordingly.(at the throttle housing of course)

Hello

Normaly you have color coded vacuum hoses.

Green, Black and Red

Green goes to the inside and the other hose to the vacuum tornister.

Both hoses goe back to the throttle body but sometimes they also go trough little cans or on other items ( WUR ).

I hope someone else has more deatails on hand. If not get the routing for your car. Us cars had to have them inside the engine lid ( or I had to stick them on there ).
