Is really thick oil OK to use?
Hi All,
Which oil viscous would you reccommend for a leaky 1968 911 with a 2.7 engine in (it's not the original engine)?? A local supplier sells really thick oil for 'higher mileage' cars - would that be OK, I'm trying to reduce the oil leak - not that its that bad, only leaks when really hot...? Cheers! |

What weight? Single or double i.e. Straight 50W or 20W50? Make sure it does not have additives, that is a no no.
The more important is oil flow to your moving parts. To heavy and it will not properly lubricate. Where is she leaking?
