1988 3.2 - New to Me
Hello to all,
I have been a bit slow getting the 3.2 and myself properly introduced to the forum. The Carrera is Marine Blue with Silver Grey interior. It has 106k miles and has spent most of its life in the South and Southwest (TX, AZ and NM). I wanted to share pics and thank everyone for past and future help. This place is amazing in the amount quality information shared. Pic of the way she looked the day I picked her up  I have since acquired a set of 7's and 8's. I put the original 6's and 7's in storage since they were in near perfect shape. I pretty happy with its stance now.    Up next is to refresh the interior with new carpet and at some point the seats will need some attention too. regards, Mike |

Nice. Love the color but have to say that I like the coupes without the tails (even though I have one myself but it is on the cab). Does not look like stock exhaust - what else has been done mechanically?

Great looking car!
Imho, dark blue looks better than black, although even the dark blue will challenge the car's a/c in NM. It looks like a Dansk 2-out sport exhaust, yes? |

Again thanks to all for the nice comments..... I do love the color myself.
Yes it has the SSI / Dansk two out exhaust set up on it. Great sound but a little more drone than I would prefer. It was installed but the PO. As far as the tail goes I'm on the fence. It came with one from the factory but was removed along the way at some point. The PO wanted one back on the car and was out big bucks to buy a new oem one and get it painted. I love that it screams the 80's but enjoy the classic lines too. My guess is it will be removed again at some point Mike |
