Richard,
your car sounds ace! Now I have to figure out if I should go for that type of exhaust in foreseable future or wait for the very distant future (cost) and buy SSI to get extra power aswell as good noise.

dickster 03-08-2002 07:37 AM

ok, its a porsche right??

(clutching at straws  )

Richard:

Of course...it's a (acustical) inside tour in 917 climbing trough gears... :p :p :p

I should have waited for someone to reveal this but i couldn't stand see you suffering :-)

chris - thanks! i guess you have a power issue with an sc, you've got more to gain (than with a 3.2) going with ssi's.

do your std. heat exch cross over like the 3.2? and then you've got a premuffler and 1 in/1 out muffler? is that right? what have you got??

decisions decisions!!

beepbeep - what d'i tell ya? i knew it!

I didn't have a clue either :) If there're more 917 sounds were that came from let us have the links please.

Richard,
My system (standard) looks just like the original one on your car with the exception of the cat. It just has a pre silencer.

dickster 03-09-2002 03:45 AM

i see your predicament!!:(

i suppose it depends how much you want the extra power and how long you gonna have to wait. if its a real long time then it doesn't matter what you do now cause you'll get use out of what ever you've got!;)

hope that helpshttp://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/wat6.gif
