Different wheel pattern adapters/wheels

Have someone installed wheel adapters with different pattern, (5/130 to 5/114.3) to use wheels other than Porsche? (Not for racing) For example: staggered wheels designed for Mustang or Nissan 370? Show photos/details.

Seen too many of them break with the wheel coming off. Would never do it on any car..

Really? I have not seen one broken in street cars. And have seen various customized SUVs with them using really big(heavy) wheels. Maybe cheap China made break but how about good quality ones? There are a lot here in Wide Body conversions using them but with the same Porsche wheel pattern.
