torque spec for brake light switch

I've searched and looked in my Bentley but cannot find the torque spec for the two brake light switches on the M/C. Does anyone know or is it just "tighten until it's tight and go"?

11 ft lb, Brother! In the Bentley towards the back of the section.

Remember use a piece of 2X4X24 to press the pedal about 1-2 inches to help keep the air out of the system and drop some fluid into the new switches.

I used more than 11 ft lbs to tighten and I did fill them first before putting them in. What page/section Draco did you find that torque spec? I'm searching and still haven't found it.

460-11 is 11 ft lbs for wheel bearing lock nut.

figure 971-8 situates the switches but doesn't give a torque spec...

470-10.

If I may suggest, place a piece of paper towel around the switches with a rubber band to insure you have not over torqued it. Check after couple of runs and some hard braking.

I'm not too concerned. It took a bears' amount of torque just to break them loose, then more than 11 ft lbs in my guesstimation to remove them over a couple of revolutions at first. They screw in very tight all the way through.

I appreciate the spec and page location.
Thank you.
