When were door pockets introduced?
Or should my '74 have them and I just found another PO modification?
Thanks guys - hope you guys back East are hanging in there with the heat OK. |

My 1973 had them, so yours should as well.
How about posting a picture of your door card so we can see what you have. If the PO went to RS Door panels than they may have gone bye-bye.

Hi Harry - here is the picture. She's really rough (but the price was right) so don't view this picture if you've just completed dinner.
It looks like there is an outline on the panel - maybe from where the pocket used to be; ![]() |

Yep, looks like you should of had them. Looking at your other pictures, the PO may have been trying to make a RS replica. If so, the Door pockets would have been eliminated to save weight. To go the whole way, you also eliminate the dorr handle and more.
An RS Door panel looks sort of like this: ![]() thanks Ramathorn

Thanks Harry - I've got bigger things to worry about but now that I know I'll put these on the "to be sourced" list.
Appreciate the help. |
