Seat cover removal

I have my seat out but can't figure out how to remove the upright/seatback cover. Any suggestions?

I have an 87...if you're talking about removing the entire top piece of the seat, then remove the two lower plastic covers over the hinge and unbolt. If you're talking about removing the leather or vinyl seat cover, remove the top from the bottom, and then pry up the metal tabs located on the lower edge of the top half of the seat to start the cover removal process.

Best,
David
