Memphis, TN, to Seattle, WA, in a 1983 SC Cabriolet
Hello,
short update, I already posted that I bought the 1983 SC Cabriolet from Shane (SCWDP911) two weeks ago. I flew down to Memphis to pick up the car on Thursday and after a 47 hour drive (with breaks) I made it home to Seattle! Around 2800 miles with a 28 year old car and she did very well!! The car ran fine, I just have to find out why the shifter shakes like crazy when accelerating in first gear (motor and transmission mounts???) and have to get started on the interior (new seats, carpet, ...). I already have posted a WTB in the classified section for a black interior. Shane will send the parts he couldn't find at the moment per mail (trim pieces from the top mainly), plan is to have the car painted and with a new interior in the next 6 months. - Juergen |

AND WOW  Nice A/C 911 - we need to GTG again for some fun. I just tucked mine into the garage all cleaned up and ready for more rain  beautiful color..is the interior green/grey ? (hard to tell from that pic)

Hey Ed,
Interior is at the moment grey-beige but since I have to redo it I will switch to completely black. Juergen,
Tranny and engine mounts were replaced with the cab units last year. Probably needs a shift coupler adjustment.
