Here's my current project. It is a pair of Triumph Daytona 675 triple throttle bodies on custom intake runners.
ITBs are 44mm ID. They came with injectors, fuel rails, TPS, idle stepper motors and horns and were new take-offs from a Triumph racing team who presumably put something different on their racing bikes.
I fabbed the air cleaner housings in glass and carbon fibre to suit standard size K&N air filters.
Intake runners are mandrel bent 50mm OD x 3mm wall aluminium tube.
I did consider separating the throttle bodies and mounting them all on straight runners with individual filters. If I was going to do this again, that's probably how I'd go because there was a lot of work making moulds and parts for the air cleaner housings. The bends in the outer runners also mean that the height is a little more than I really want, but I can live with it.
I am not using the Triumph injectors and fuel rails because they were too small (and plastic) so I've fitted standard 3.2 fuel rails to brackets on the runners with Bosch injectors squirting straight into the ports. Don't have a pic at hand of everything assembled, but I'm sure you get the idea.
Throttle linkage is two custom cables to a bracket at the original throttle crank.

Billjam, that sir is very nice work.

I'm doing something similar right now, 3.6 too. I'll have to put up a couple pics. Question for you, what length did you establish from the flange to the top of the velocity stack?

I don't have final dimensions available with me and I am out of town for another day or two, so can't measure them, however I found this pic which has dimensions of runners before I cut them down to final length. I think I queried the board here to find out what the optimum length might be before I cut them.

As it turned out, I decided to make them as compact as possible and to hell with the fraction of a horsepower I might lose at seven thousand revs with the "perfect" length. :rolleyes:
I am pretty sure I cut them down so that the dimension from the top of the bend to top of pipe was about 25mm (as I have noted on pic).
I plan to cut them down about another 10mm and based on some rough measurements I did on the car a few weeks back, I might also have to use a shorter filter to fit the whole lot under a standard tail with a/c condenser.
That's my preferred outcome, however I'm not locked into that because I also have a turbo tail that I can use if I need the extra clearance. The car ('88 Carrera) will also be growing a full set of turbo panels, but I'd prefer to keep it tail-less if I can.
