HELP - MacGyver Fix Needed for upper fuse holder for fuel pump fuse-Simple fix needed
HELP - MacGyver Fix Needed for upper fuse holder for fuel pump fuse. I need a simple fix for the fuse holder for the fuel pump fuse.
After reading all the previous posts, it seems my fuse box may need a major over haul in the future. But in the meantime I'm looking how to fix the loose or deformed plastic seat that the upper fuse holder snaps into. The plastic hole seems loose or deformed that the accepts the metal upper upper fuse holder. So this upper fuse holder now is on a slight angle and the fuse may become loose or not seated tightly in the near future and will get me stranded at the worst time. Is there a way to get that upper fuse holder seated better and less on an angle so the fuse fits tighter. I've bent up the lower holder, but I don't feel that the connections will remain tight to the upper and lower fuse ends. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I know there must be a MacGyver out there Thanks ! |

Maybe just jumper something from these guys in place of the current fuse: Fuse Holder | ATO/ATC Fuse Holder | In Line Fuse Holder | ATO Fuse Block | Wholesale Fuse Holders
Something like this?

 I picked this up from Radio Shack and used it for about a week before replacing the fuse holder block.
