Tachometer reading in engine compartment
 
Is there a way to connect a second tachometer or a test tachometer in the engine compartment for tuning with a Crane XR3000 Ignition? It would be nice to be able to read RPM's accurately without looking through the back window at the dash mounted tach. I know that many instruments do not read correctly from CDI set-ups.

Some good timing lights will display rpm.

LM-2 as well. Yeah black tinted rear window does not help either :(

get a dwell/ tach/voltmeter. hook to trigger circuit.

Sun makes a nice one.
