Elephant rear TB; which end is in, which is out?
I have new Elephant Racing 29mm rear TBs. Dumb question, but which end is inboard and which is outboard (please don't make me count the splines).

It's Sunday 6pm; just thought I might get a good answer here.

They only fit one way but since you asked, the smaller end goes in the tube and the large end goes in the spring plate.

OK, I counted 40 splines on one end; that's supposed to be inboard. Either way I try it won't go in.
Is it possible I got the wrong TBs? Are they different for the G50 cars?

Yes, G50 and 915 T-bars are different but only on one end and I can't remember which. I'm thinking on the spring plate end. Put plenty of lube on them. They are a tight fit.

I'm trying to put them in dry just for fitment; that's likely my problem. I'll lube them up and try again. Thanks.

I checked my invoice: they're for a 911 65-86
I guess I'll be waiting a while to go any further...
