Factory Spark Plug Socket Problem
When I was adjusting my valves, I used my circa 1973 factory spark plug tool to remove the spark plugs. The rubber insert decided to come out when the plugs were reinsterted and tightened.
How do I ensure that the rubber insert stays inside the socket?

Use some glue.
Not a good idea to remove the plugs while adjusting the valves.
