Brake fluid on paint

I managed to drop one single drop of brake fluid on my front quarter panel. I soaked it down and wiped it off with a wet cloth. What else should I do to mitigate any issues with this?

Did it sit or did you wipe off immediately?

You should be fine it you did not let it sit. Did your paint have wax on it? If so put some wax back on to seal it.

Yes, I removed it IMMEDIATELY. The car had wax on it as well. That is pretty much what I thought of as well.

I'm just wondering if there is anything which neutralizes brake fluid.

You're probably ok if no damage has appeared yet, your quick response saved your paint.

It's fine. Nothing to show, thank goodness.

It's been one of those weekends working on the car where I've been making mistakes, and I start second guessing myself. I'm anxious to get this car on the ground and running again. It hasn't been on the street yet this season. I'm nearly there though.

I'm shooting to be on the road for labor day week-end and she'll be back in hibernation in November. Thank God the weather has been $hitty.
