Early Rear View Mirror - what's it worth?

HI guys -

cleaning out the garage and ran across this mirror - looks old to me, perhaps came off my buddy's 68 911 or my 67 911 - there is a number on the back:

TR-RTI-108

The elbow connection looks old to me - like it wants to mount to the roof or top of the window frame?

mystery part - what's it worth? Any 'early' guys need this thing?

later 911 and 914. the ones that used a square block glued to the windshield. $40 or thereabouts if the mirror is nice.

Thanks John - the mirror is nice and will clean up very well - the alum is a little corroded as you can see in the pix - I"ll post it up on the classifieds.....
